Hurry Up And Wait
Most of my weekends are so packed with household administrivia that I might as well have not had a weekend at all. This weekend is no exception. Right now though, I am waiting for Mr. Trueblood to finish fixing our geriatric Jeep. Monkey (my 3 yr old) is watching flowgo cartoons on the dual monitor system while I type. Maus (6 mos) is napping. Soon though, I hope to go buy shoes. SHOES! And a birthday present for my nephew who is turning one.

If they only knew. . .
I had a three hour meeting on project management yesterday. Today I have a meeting on service oriented architecture. I have another 3 hour meeting on the same project next week. And we haven't started writing our requirements yet. If they only know how little project management lingo I understand, they'd probably can me.

Also, listening to people debate whether we should use a specific word as a noun or verb only is excruciating. I am not cut out for management. Just let me sit in my cube and test the code, folks.
